It was reported that five key projects as Gaobi Market, Lishushan Middle School, upgrading project for shantytowns of Xiangnan Market, etc. were launched on February 17, 2014, which indicated a nice beginning for development of Chenzhou city’s modern service industry was handled out in 2014. It was introduced that further acceleration of modern service industry was one of the key works for Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government. According to “brochure for 2014 Chenzhou city’s major modern service industry projects”, 487 projects amounted with 93.25 billion yuan were planned to be carried out in Chenzhou city in 2014, 256 of which were new ones while 231were the continuous construction projects.

Modern logistic, financial service, technology and information service, modern business service, tourism, social service, modern manor economy, real estate and some others are the key fields for Chenzhou modern service industry. Due to the weaker improvement condition of logistic industry, Chenzhou city paid special attention on it in 2014. It was learned that 28 ones of the 36 modern logistic projects were new ones, including Xiangnan Market with hotel, wholesaler, warehousing, logistic, marketing and management, Chenzhou large scale stowage center, Youxiang warehouse logistics for appliances and devices, Juntang mine non-ferrous warehouse logistics testing center, grain industry logistic center in Suxian district, and etc.

Concerned for the technology and information service projects, 29 ones of them are well-being projects. 4G network, intelligent transportation construction, Dongjiang lake digitization scenic project, and etc. were the key ones, especially for the intelligent transportation network which would cover the whole Chenzhou urban central area and public bus intelligent safe-guide system which would form a comprehensive supervision system of Chenzhou public buses system.

Concerned for the modern business service construction, besides Meimei World, BBK, Youa Chenzhou and some other complexes which are under construction, some more ones were launched in Chenzhou city. Modern manor economy which was one of the key emerging industriese of Chenzhou city was also under rapid improvement. Chenzhou Mengtaoyuan Ecological Villa, Changlu Leisure Farm Resort and some other projects were preceded to the preliminary planning and design work.
