It was reported that Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee investigated Jiahe county recently and emphasized that more efforts should be tried on promotion of manorial economy to upgrade the level of agricultural modernization of Chenzhou city.

Xiang Lili led his investigation team to visit some projects handled in Jiahe county as Nongcheng road, Minsheng square, Huijing modern seedling base, Puman ecological agricultural sightseeing garden, Chenzhou (Jiahe) equipment manufacturing logistic park and etc. It was purposely to get a full understanding of Jiahe county’s overall development of urban and rural areas and promotion of modern manorial economy. In recent years, series projects were carried out by Jiahe county step by step. Taking Jiahe Minsheng Square project for example, this key landscape project for demonstration belt construction of overall development of urban and rural areas became people’s favorite leisure place with the perfect infrastructure facilities and nearly 30mu green lands.

At the meantime, more efforts were tried by Jiahe county to promote modern manorial economy by seizing the chance of construction of demonstration area of overall development of urban and rural areas. Puman Agricultural Sightseeing Garden was a modern garden with the features of agricultural resources, agricultural tourism and rural culture. According to the plan, once finished, it would be a colorful ecological garden with different species of plants and animals and all the features mentioned above would be highlighted there.

Xiang stated that promotion of modern manorial economy was not equal to the construction of leisure bases. The key point concerned for it was to focus on the core of industry to highlight the effect of famous brands and agricultural culture. The industry should be expanded with better operation of this kind of platforms and agricultural industries should be improved accordingly. Jiahe county should operate better on “flue-cured tobacco” industry by fully playing the advantages of special modern manorial economy and handling professional cooperatives. At the meantime, the organization of agricultural industrialization should be upgraded accordingly and reached the branding and marketizing of its flue-cured tobacco industry.

Xiang emphasized that modern manorial was equivalent of a modern agricultural complex, which was an advanced form of modern agriculture. More attention should be placed on keeping its continuous development, increasing the income of farmers and efficiency of agriculture, improving the development of professional cooperatives and perfecting relative infrastructure facilities on the process of promotion of modern manorial economy.
