It was reported that the opening ceremony of “reviewing red memory, travelling around beautiful Guidong”was held in Santaishan Square of Guidong county, Chenzhou city at 9:00a.m. of April 4, 2015. Series activities as “enjoying natural oxygen bar, facilitating with natural air conditioner, and listening to red stories”.

The self-driving activity which was undertaken by Hunan Self-driving Tourism Association is one of the key points of 2015 China (Hunan) Red Tourism and Culture Festival. It was learned that this activity would be last from this April to July. Three theme activities as red education tour, expedition tour, and leisure tour would be held in Guidong county by the sponsor till July 20, 2015.

Guidong county where is one of the important parts of Jingangshan Revolutionary Base is a first class old revolutionary base area and is the birthplace of the first army regulation (three main rules of discipline and eight points for attention). It is with abundant ecological resources as virgin forests, secondary forests, Bamianshan National Nature Reserve and Hunan Qiyunfeng National Forest Park, and etc. Besides enjoying the deepening red culture of the old revolutionary area, travelers can explore the unique karst cave and enjoy an ecological summer trip there.

After the opening ceremony, 60 self-driving cars from Hunan province started from Hunan Leifeng Memorial Hall and arrived Guidong county via Pingru expressway. The travelers would visit First Army Regulation Square, Wanshou Palace, Dongpo village of Datang town, and some other scenic spots in the second day along with enjoying natural oxygen bar, natural air conditioner, and red stories.
