Recently, the final list of 10th Photography Contest of 2012 was released by “Smithsonian”. “Morning, Small Dongjiang River”which was taken by James Khoo from Malaysia was named in the final 50 ones.

Smithsonian is the official journal published by the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. The first issue was published in 1970.

More than 30,000 works from 112 countries were submitted to the contest for the 5 categories as tourism, people, nature, American style, and retouching work. “Morning, Small Dongjiang River”was one of the works for tourism category which gained great appraise from the net- “as beautiful as fairyland”.

James Khoo is good at taking water images which can fully show the diversity and visual effect of water.
