Open tendering of 2013 Duidong county channel greening projects was held on January 15, 2013 at the meeting room of Guidong Forest Bureau. 77 landscape companies, cooperatives of flowers and seedlings from Chenzhou city, Changsha city and Guidong county attended the open tendering. After more than three hours intensive equal competition, Hunan Furong Landscape Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., Hunan Shanhe Landscape Construction Co., Ltd. and other 15 companies (cooperatives) won the bids.

The whole tendering project was concerning for 37 kilometers greening work of 106 national road rom Zengkou to Shantian converting station and S322 provincial road from Guangming to Hankou. It was divided to 17 sections to handle the tendering issue with estimated investment of more than 30 million yuan. According to the tendering requirements, 6-7cm thick photinia seerulata and 5cm sakura amounting to 13000 plants and more than 30000 plants of chrysanthemum and red maples would be planted on 106 national road section, and 8cm thick elaeocarpus sylvestris and 5cm sakura amounting to 4000 plants would be planted on S322 provincial road section.
